Yidris Graveyard Cube is a 4 color, non-white cube built around various graveyard based mechanics that attempts to maximize synergies to generate fun and interesting play patterns that are not regularly seen in other cubes.
This concept came about during the pandemic when I was trying to change my Cube philosophy and build around a theme. Originally, this cube had all 5 colors, but as time went on, it came apparent that white was significantly under drafted due to a lack of card design for the theme. Cutting the color was one of the best decisions I had made for a cube and the environment has thrived because of it. This is by far my most iterated cube and believe provides the most unique of experiences.
While there might seem to be a bunch of "straight good cards" and putting them all in the same deck might look good enough at first glance, let it be known that if your aren't building a game plan, you are probably going to end up in the loser bracket. Game engines have proven their strength time and time again in this environment, and that its better to have a well oiled machine that a stitched together abomination.
Every drafter will start with an Ash Barrens in their pool.
