I want to try rebalancing SNC again, but this time with multiples being OK, but no rarities (I dont' want to sort by rarity)

archetype analysis:
WU: fliers, tempo, counters
UB: self-mill, 5 cmc in graveyard
RB: Sacrifice? Aggro
RG: Treasures, midrangy
WG: Citizens, alliance, go wide

Bant: Counters, Tempo, Assertive
Esper: slower, can be assertive, controlling
Grixis: control(?) Tricksy stuff, durdle
Jund: sacrifice, midrangy, assertive
Naya: Go wide, midrangy to aggressive

Considerations:
keep two-color more aggressive archetypes, but multicolor possible
need some incentives to be lower colored
have a lot of fixing
keep focus on three color and multicolored set
slow down format- I was something like meeting of the five to be playable
err on keeping cards- will introduce cards from other formats, but try to keep the visual appeal of SNC

kind of want to emulate KTK
aim for 400 card cube, so things aren't 100% predictable with a pod of 8

Are duplicates ok? Yes, balance around cycles of fun cards to play with

What is the power level of this cube? don't want a high-powered cube, slightly higher than average limited set, I guess? Want a little jank, want some build-arounds. Want to focus on replayability

I wrote a ton of stuff and cubecobra decided to log me out and I lost all of it. URGH

We drafted with 10 people, so there were a lot of duplicates. This hecked everything up. there were like 4 sanctuary wardens and 5 jinnie fays :(

our 3-0s:
Grixis with a lotta rares, hostile takeover, 2 undercover operative, xander, evelyn
Selesnya Aggro- lots of 2 drops, disruption, 3 jinnie fays with no token generation, defiler, sanctuary warden

2-1s:
RBg sacrifice, thrinaxes, vermin gorger, forge bosses
RWg aggro- two rumour gatherers, lots of creatures that make tokens

1-2s:
My deck (naya 5c for kami war)
jund 5c- golos, some sacrifice stuff
WUg, two falco sparas, very flat curve, depopulation, thassa
WGr, jetmir, two rabble rousing, three ropiary stomper, three charms
WUb, confluence, queza, errant and giada, raffine

0-3:
GR aggro, jinnie fay, not a lot of ways to finish out a game

Not too bad

general thoughts:

  1. Too many multicolored cards. Multicolored cards are strong, having so many sends signals that are maybe too strong, and causes people to spec pick really early
  2. Fixing seemed ok
  3. RB may be overtuned- keep an eye on it, especially vermin gorger
  4. the "broken commons" did feel pretty good overall, except I didn't see anyone play the blue one
  5. games felt generally good, not too fast, not too slow, 5c felt fine
  6. with higher densities of fixing, keep an eye on 5c
