A set cube for "Commander Legends : Battle for Balder's Gate", including the commander deck specific legends.

Recommended Four player Draft Format

When playing with 4 players:

1. assemble packs of 20 cards
   • one multicolor commander
   • one background
   • one background commander
   • one nonbasic land
   • two white cards
   • two blue cards
   • two black cards
   • two red cards
   • two green cards
   • two colorless cards
   • 4 any
2. draft 5 packs per player
3. take 2 picks at a time
4. burn the last 8 cards in every pack.
5. Each player constructs a 60 card deck, count including commander(s)

...each player should have 60 cards in their pool, (20-8)*5 = 60, and will have seen 340 cards from the cube. This should make for decks that are noticeably but not dramatically more powerful than a typical deck from an 8 person pod, where in each player usually sees 312 cards from the cube.

Build History

I started at 3x for each common, 2x for each uncommon, and 1x for each rare/mythic. I then cut 42 cards to get down to 720. These cuts were focused on removing niche/unplayable cards. I further shaved uncommon commanders/backgrounds to make space for those from the commander decks.

Changes under consideration

Current questions for myself:

• Should I make space for 5 more fixing gates
• Should I replace the bad three color commanders or otherwise add new three color commanders to increase options
