Welcome to G3EK's CEDH Powered Cube,

This is my CEDH power cube for 12 players. This cube is optimal to draft at 6 and 12 players as it allow you to draft the entire cube.

Please use the good draft mode for the amount of player in the playtest section: 2-6 or 6-12.

Please follow my cube if you enjoyed your draft!

General information

Each player will begin with those cards to build their deck:

P.S I have tagged all commanders with a blue star sticker (on the inner sleeve) and all starting cards with a red star sticker. This help me to better find the card to recreate the cube after a cube night.

How to Draft (2-6 players)

The draft is divided in 3 group of pack, Commander(Blue Star), Starting(Red Star) and Regular(No Sticker). Each player will finish the draft with a total of 136 cards distributed like so:

  1. Give a starting pack to each player, each player keep all of those card.
  2. Distribute a commander pack to each player.
  3. Clockwise, each player will draft two commander card from the Commander pack and pass it to the next player. Do this until there is no more commander to draft.
  4. Distribute 8 regular pack to each player. Counter-clockwise, each player will draft two card and pass it to the next player. Do this until there is no more card to draft in that pack. P.S On the last pick of a pack, there will be only one card to draft.
  5. Repeat step 3 until there is no more packs per player. You need to change rotation from clockwise to counter-clockwise or vice-versa in between pack
  6. Build your deck of 100 cards (including the commander).
How to Draft (6-12 players)

The draft is divided in 3 group of pack, Commander(Blue Star), Starting(Red Star) and Regular(No Sticker). Each player will finish the draft with a total of 71 cards distributed like so:

  1. Give a starting pack to each player, each player keep all of those card
  2. Distribute a commander pack to each player.
  3. Clockwise, each player will draft one commander card and pass it to the next player. Do this until there is no more commander to draft.
  4. Distribute 4 regular pack to each player. Counter-clockwise, each player will draft one card and pass it to the next player. Do this until there is no more card to draft in that pack.
  5. Repeat step 3 until there is no more packs per player. You need to change rotation from clockwise to counter-clockwise or vice-versa in between pack
  6. Build your deck of 50 cards (including the commander).
How to shuffle the cube Shuffle commander packs
  1. Take all Commander cards (Blue star) and shuffle them.
  2. Create 12 packs of 5 cards and put them in 12 different Dragonshield Cube shell.
Shuffle regular packs
  1. Make six piles: one of each Monocolor and a sixth for Multicolor/Hybrid/Colorless/Land. Henceforth we will call that last pile the "Everything Else pile".
    | White | Blue | Black | Red | Green | Everything Else |
    |-------|------|-------|-----|-------|-----------------|
    | 101 | 101 | 101 | 101 | 101 | 230 |

  2. Shuffle each mono-colored pile using whatever method you are comfortable with. No need to shuffle the Everything Else pile.

  3. From each mono-colored pile, move cards to the Everything Else pile until it contains ~50% of your total count. Each mono-colored pile will contain ~10% of your total count after this step and the Everything else pile now has some cards from every section of the cube.
    | White | Blue | Black | Red | Green | Everything Else |
    |-------|------|-------|-----|-------|-----------------|
    | 73 | 73 | 73 | 73 | 73 | 370 |

  4. Shuffle the Everything Else pile using whatever method you are comfortable with.

  5. From the Everything Else pile, distribute cards into each mono-colored pile. Once you are done, each mono-colored pile should contain 20% of your total count. The + sign to indicate that each pile is now comprised of half its original color and half unknown.
    | White+ | Blue+ | Black+ | Red+ | Green+ |
    |--------|-------|--------|------|--------|
    | 147 | 147 | 147 | 147 | 147 |

  6. Shuffle each pile using whatever method you are comfortable with.

  7. Create your packs using 3 cards from each pile. The quickest way to do this is to shuffle each pile into n/15 piles (where n is your total card count). We should end up with 49 regular pack that now contain 15 cards divided as following:
    | White+ | Blue+ | Black+ | Red+ | Green+ |
    |--------|-------|--------|------|--------|
    | 3 | 3 | 3 | 3 | 3 |

  8. Put all those regular pack in some Dragonshield Cube shell.
