Introduction\bf{Introduction}

Modeled after Sam Black's Commander Cube (https://topdeck.gg/articles/my-favorite-way-to-play-magic-commander-cube) (https://youtu.be/maVzrwhRhos?si=Tgji6C6i8Oc8YMgO) (https://cubecobra.com/cube/list/38rph)

Design\bf{Design}

  • 3 x 20 (4 x 16) card packs, each player makes 2 picks per pack
  • mono-colored legendary creatures have Partner
  • each player may add one Command Tower and one Commander's Sphere to their deck

(1) no cards that search your library
(2) no fast mana
(3) no infinite combos (;))
(4) no planeswalkers
(*) fixed hybrid mana (e.g. Heliod, the Radiant Dawn & Emiel the Blessed = w & Decadent Dragon = r)
(**) you may splash hybrid/MDFC/off-color lands as long as they share a color with your commander(s) (e.g. Revitalizing Repast in any deck with b-g)

Board wipes: 1 dedicated board wipe per color, meant to synergize with ongoing strategies, rather than resetting the game entirely (+ 2 on-board artifact "bombs" e.g. Nevinyrral's Disk & Karn's Sylex)

Subtype matters: dragons (r), elves (g), humans (w), pirates (u-r), shamans/wizards (u-r), zombies (b)
