This is the Prismatic Cube, a high-synergy format expanding on familiar cube archetypes by introducing a significant twist to the traditional rules.
For each game of Prismatic Cube, each player starts with an emblem that reads:
"Lands you control have all five basic land types in addition to any other types. The same is true for land cards you own that aren’t on the battlefield."
This means that every land can add ,
,
,
, or
and all lands are Plains, Islands, Swamps, Mountains, and Forests. It takes Prismatic Omen and makes it apply to all lands in all zones!
This dramatically boosts the power level for specific cards while opening certain ones to previously inaccessible strategies!
Note that for cards with additional abilities to make mana, that mana is not prismatic. This means that while Cabal Coffers can tap for all five colors, its Swamp-counting ability only produces (but it now counts itself!).
Having access to all five colors opens up the entire Magic library to all strategies. For example, burn decks can now run these creatures as threats stapled to direct damage:
These same burn decks even get their own countermagic to help close out the game:
They even get removal to help burn out the opponent!
Prismatic LandsIn Prismatic Cube, lands become more accessible than ever thanks to their basic land types.
For example, some spells and abilities can now find any land in your deck, including some that ramp by putting the lands directly into play!
As for what lands to search up, there are many powerful ones worth pulling out of your library...
ArchtypesIn addition to the multi-type land synergies, here are some of the overarching themes you can find in Prismatic Cube:
Big Mana Enablers, to completely go over the top:
Big Mana Payoffs, to sink all that mana into:
Giant creatures, buffed by the availability of all basic land types:
Fast Aggro, a broad theme of high power creatures that demand answers.
Big Spells, made easy with the flexibility of mana and equal access of ramp.
Land Combos, for you to make every land drop matter or just use a big turn to end your opponent.
Spells Matter, now with access to all colors. Ramp spells can now go into your control decks!
ETB Enablers, to make sure you're always getting those triggers.
Graveyard, playing with two hands rather than one.
Tempo, when you want all the cards and the fun.
Single-Card Combos, cards that ask very little but provide lots.
Rounding Things OutIn addition to all the new synergies with Prismatic Cube rules, we have a few atypical cards to round out your decks (and a few fun ones to take advantage of the cube environment):
Card Advantage
Removal
Counter Magic
Single Draw
Board Wipes
Cube Fun

Don't worry, Prismatic Cube is a new experience but there are many familiar cards present too:
Thank you for checking out my cube! I put a lot of thought and care into the individual card choices but if you have any suggestions, please message me! When looking at the list, try sorting by Tags to see where I have each of the cards assigned.
Have fun!
