First thing you gotta do is pick up the chair. If you can't pick it up, just leave it on the ground.
Blue Chair is my midrange cube. The format has great fixing, and you're very likely to play three colours as long as you've picked your fixing highly enough.
Death is only a temporary setback, and these four know how to cheat death better than any other. Expect to first pick them, and expect to deal with them on the other side of the battlefield. If you do not respect them, they will grind you into the dust.
To handle your opponents in this cube, you'll have access to the most efficient tools. Between destroying, exiling, or making sure they never get to resolve the spell in the first way, you'll have to make tough choices.
To truly deal with the aforementioned pillars, you have to deal with the graveyard as a whole. Having a way to prevent your opponent from recycling their spent resources is essential in a fast paced war of attrition.
I for once in my life actually grabbed my laptop so I'm writing out a real post to explain changes, shocker!
Adds from Hot WheelsThe Aetherspark is a supremely cool equipment that confuses people with the fact it also is a planeswalker. I expect this card to be jitte-esque, and usually cost .
Brightglass is a card that got a lot of hype being spoiled early, and I just have brain worms that make me think GW gold cards are cool. Big ball of stats that tutors urza's saga is cool.
General additionsLots of "I just think they're neat" going on here. Lots of midrangey cards that have enough of a theme to make me think they add texture to decks here.
Yawg is here because @deinonychus told me he can add a cool crats-ish texture to black decks all by himself, and I think that's really cool. Happy birthday again friend.
Rutstein was literaly my favourite card of 2024. I loved him so much there are several embarrassing pictures of me pogging holding copies of him opened at FNM. I am contractually obligated to actually cube Honest Rutstein, no matter if he's playable or not.
Learning there's a playable 2 mana mind rot not named hymn to tourach made me incredibly happy, even more so because it boosts the orzhov sewer identity a bit more. What a card.
Company is in the cube as a draft 1 get 3 package, which I've been considering for a good while. The card is undeniably cool, and making it a package is a good way to avoid the sadness of drafting around it and never seeing your one copy. Shoutout to @landofmordor for putting me onto this one.
