Timmy simply likes them more and wanted to create a unique play experience out of the shiny bulk rares (<$1).
Fly, Flicker, Artifacts
Flyers, good ETB effects and flicker effects mainly. Last but not least some decent artifacts on top.
Mill, Control, Rogues, Artifacts
Classics such as counters and removal. Sprinkled in some finishers, rogues and artifacts.
Sacrifice, Aristocrats, Vampires, Artifacts
Aristocrats: Sacrifice your own creatures for profit. But also some vampires and incidental artifacts at this party.
Ramp, Trample
Big stompy creatures on one side and mana dorks on the other in order to get faster to your big beaters.
Go Wide Tokens
Go Wide with an army of tokens and run over your opponent.
Sacrifice, Aristocrats, Vampires, Reanimate
Aristocrats: Sacrifice your own creatures for profit. But also some vampires and incidental reanimation.
Spells Matters
Fling spells like there is no tomorrow and have creatures which benefit from doing so.
Graveyard Matters
Mill yourself but have ways to benefit from cards in your graveyard.
Aggro Go Wide Tokens
Go Wide and go fast with your tokens.
+1/+1 Counters
Spread +1/+1 counters all around and reap the benefits.

Starting Land
Every player will be given a Pillar of the Paruns already in play. Hence accelerating turn one to mitigate the lack of one drops as well as enabling color splashes more easily.
Breaking Singleton
Within the land section, there will be multiple of certain cards in order to allow for easier multi color fixing.
Errata
Queen Kayla bin-Kroog will be changed to include mana values 2,3 and 4 instead.
E.g. "You may choose an artifact or creature card with mana value 1 you discarded this way, ..." becomes
"You may choose an artifact or creature card with mana value 4 you discarded this way, ..."
