This context-shift cube is based around each player starting the game with a Wrenn and Realmbreaker Emblem.
The cube is meant to be balanced around Seal of Fire, which can end a game on its own by turn 4. The overall curve of the cube is low and this leaves lots of decision space on your turns. My goal is to have a fun cube that utilizes the graveyard in a unique way as an extension of your hand. A general archetype overview is located at the end of the description.
Things to KnowThe only fixing in the cube are fetch lands that only grab basics, including the full MH3 Landscape cycle and breaking singleton on Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse.
The lack of duals typically limits decks to two colors. However since you can play lands from your graveyard and one fetch can fix all your land drops, splashing a color is not difficult. Additionally, since one fetch can give you infinite land drops, you can run fewer lands the more fetches you acquire.
Graveyard hate and exile based effects are very important so look out for them in the draft.
There are several infinite combos to be on the lookout for such as Myr Scrapling and Honest Rutstien or Teardrop Kami and Incubation Druid.
Don't be afraid to mulligan aggressively as being able to play cards from your graveyard can keep you in the game even if you're low on resources.
Running a DraftI typical run 3-4 packs of 15 depending on the number of players.
It helps to have at least 4 Wrenn and Realmbreaker Emblems to remind players of the ability.
Cube DesignThis cube was initially inspired by other context-shift cubes. I was especially inspired by the omniscience drafts on Arena. I like the idea of having an actual game piece define the rules of the cube with no other rules modifications. After searching for hours and a suggestion from a friend I ended up landing the the Wrenn and Realmbreaker Emblem.
