This is a 180 card cube designed to be played 1-vs-1. My intent was to build a unique draft/play experience based on a simple, alternative win condition: mill yourself to win. Due to blue's historical ties to strategies in this area, this cube is heavily skewed towards blue.

54 cards are mono-blue and there are 20 multi-colored cards from each blue+other color pairing. These multicolored cards are limited to only ever requiring 1 non-blue colored pip in their mana cost. All 4 of these color pairings are designed to either include more powerful effects of similar mono-blue cards (such as counterspells), or card effects that blue doesn't traditionally support.

The rules of this cube are fairly simple:

  • All players have the passive effect of Laboratory Maniac at all times. (If you would draw a card while your library is empty, you win.)
  • All players have infinite life. (Combat damage still occurs, but player life totals will always be infinite, and always the same.)
  • Players must explore the Dungeon of the Mad Maze as their initiative choice.

While rule #2 may suggest that there are very few creatures in this cube list, this is not the case. Combat plays an important rule for a few reasons: flipping battles, killing opposing Planeswalkers, creatures that care about dealing damage to an opponent, and controlling the monarchy/initiative.
