This is my attempt to make a draft environment based around 3 adjacent colors, like Streets of New Capenna or Shards of Alara, but that plays more like Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths. That is to say it should feel like you are drafting abilities and synergies more than any particular color combination.

Toward that end, there are multiple sets of valuable 3-color cards to encourage trying for a 3-color deck, but also some hybrid cards to provide flexibility. Mechanical themes/archetypes are not centered around creature keywords but are general enough to read as incidental.

Cycling is an important part of the trick Ikoria pulls, specifically with a cost of //, so it is present in all colors (but concentrated in Grixis / Maestros). Another, subtler trick in both Ikoria and this cube is cards with generic functions but specialized requests for cost reduction. Sadly I couldn't make space for Companion or Mutate, but at some point this environment needs its own identity and to not just be The Ikoria Cube. For the former at least, 10 Learn cards and 10 Lessons fill a similar role.

The power level of most cards in this cube is above average, but it is not specifically a power cube. Some examples of cards that came up in searches but were rejected for being too strong are Ragavan, Skullclamp, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse.
