Telepathy changes minds,
necromancy changes lives,
but geomancy changes the world.
Geomancer's Gambit
A limited set with a focus on exploring the potential of land cards, Pseudo Masters: The Lands Set Cube aims to provide an approachable cube experience for a wide audience, regardless of experience in the cube space. In this set cube you will be doing much more than simply playing lands. You will be animating them, sacrificing them, and discarding them to get as much value as possible from your land base. A non-basic land is available in every pack, drawn up from a list that spans across magic's 30 year history, from lands that can animate themselves to lands that can deal direct damage, and more.
The cube was designed to feel like limited magic; each colour pair has an archetype to support its unique playstyle and you will find multiples of each common and uncommon throughout the cube. The gameplay is designed to be slower and more interactive allowing for the various abilities of lands to come into use. The aggro decks are still strong however, and have ways over getting under or through their opponent should they be underestimated. The cards themselves are easy to understand, but allow for deep interactions and reward sharp decision making.
This cube is constructed with 3 of each common, 1 of each uncommon, and 1 of each rare and mythic. The bonus sheet of lands has 2 of each uncommon land, and 1 of each rare and mythic land. In addition, each pack is set up as follows:
Rare or Mythic | Uncommon | Common | Bonus Land |
---|---|---|---|
1 | 3 | 10 | 1 |
