Nostalgia in a Can
Derived very heavily from my full 360 Nostalgia Cube list, this cubelet was created to allow for quicker games since I rarely have time to sit down for a proper draft. It prioritizes nostalgia from my "golden era" of magic (Innistrad block to Khans block) with a rich diversity in forgotten mechanics and cards that promote interesting gameplay decisions.
Smooth, Seamless, and Balanced Gameplay- NO shuffling, plus minimal library manipulations effects like Scry or Surveil
- VERY few cases of 3+ instances of a single set mechanic or keyword
- RARELY can a single card or effect draw more than 2 cards
- Planeswalkers can't have 2+ ways to protect themselves
7-card starting hand size; no mulligans
Players share a library, but have their own graveyards and exile zones
Once during each player's turn, they may play a card from their hand face down as a nonbasic land with all basic land types (including wastes/snow)
NOTE: This Cubelet could also be drafted by 2 players and played adhering to the same rules above.
