Yep. It’s a creature-only restriction cube. And it works a lot better than you might think.
Creature Cube - IntroSimply put, every card in this cube is a creature.
(The litmus test is Umori, the Collector's companion requirement; if a card would mean that Umori isn't a free pick, it doesn't have a place in the cube.)
The only concession to the theme is a fairly standard Fetch/Dual manabase to ensure quality, clean mana (and a double set of fetches to help support Landfall).
Despite the design constraints, the Creature Cube has slowly morphed to replicate a high power, combat-focused limited format. Given the lack of cheap interaction (Lightning Bolt, Swords to Plowshares, Doom Blade, etc.) maintaining board presence and tempo is much more important... WIP
Spell-like effects are rare in the cube, and often come in the form of Evoke, Adventure, & effects akin to Channel/Cycling (Bloodrush/Reinforce/etc.), and are often prioritized by drafters.

Overlord Flicker - Abusing Overlords with Phelia, Exuberant Shepherd/Flickerwisp/etc. Particularly nasty with the on-color Overlord of the Mistmoors.
Persist Combo - Any Persist creature (Kitchen Finks etc.) loops with a sac outlet & an enabler. Enablers include Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit, Luminous Broodmoth, Arwen, Weaver of Hope, Warden of the Grove, & Metallic Mimic.
Soultrader Combo - Gravecrawler/Forsaken Miner loops with Warren Soultrader & Blood Artist effects.
Kiki-Jiki Combo - The only two card, immediate, win-the-game combo enabler in the cube. Targets include Restoration Angel/Felidar Guardian/Zealous Conscripts.
Nadu Landfall - Nadu, Winged Wisdom can be abused particularly well via Bristly Bill, Spine Sower/Scythecat Cub, Springheart Nantuko, Unctus, Grand Metatect, and/or Sylvan Safekeeper.
Titania Land Sac - Titania, Protector of Argoth; Sylvan Safekeeper’s other primary role.
Clocknapper Locks - Lock opponents out of their Uptap/Draw steps with Clocknapper & Soulherder/Emiel the Blessed/Kogla, the Titan Ape/Springheart Nantuko/Temur Sabertooth
Artifacts - A soft artifact subtheme is supported in UW, with various artifact token generators and some stand-out cards like Urza, Lord High Artificer, Illustrious Wanderglyph & Unctus, Grand Metatect.
Yorion Companion - Yorion, Sky Nomad/Witty Demon: Just in case there’s a drafter who’d actually rather be playing a 60 card format.
