This is my revamped Peasant Cube! For a long time I kept it at 540 cards, but decided to cut it down to 450. I'm trying to keep peasant as a clean, fun experience. The intent is to feel closer to retail Limited than Constructed, though of course even at Peasant there are many powerful effects to be found.

I kept a number of intentional design choices in mind as I built my list:

• No power outliers (e.g. Sol Ring, Mana Drain, Monarch cards)
• No planeswalkers, including cards that reference them. Common Peasant cards here include things like Bitter Triumph or Heartfire Immolator.
• No double-faced, Morph, or Foretell cards. I found these cards to be very difficult for less invested players, who frequently had no idea what the other side of the card was either during draft nor during play. Cards that specifically create face-down (such as Manifest Dread) are okay.
• No free cards (e.g. Fireblast, Daze)
• A preference for evergreen and deciduous mechanics. One-offs are okay as long as the card explains the mechanic.
• No identically named tokens. For example no Afterlife cards with their B/W Spirit tokens. I've found it makes it much easier during home games to quickly find the correct tokens if there is only one "spirit" token in the pile.
