We drafted this cube last night, and I felt like there was probably a bit of a lack of removal.

Since I want morphs to be decent, I think I should limit creatures that "beat" morphs, ie. toughness 3+ with power 2+, so they just kill morphs.
Rules:
No creatures with tou 3+ and pow 2+ below 3mv.
At MOST 1 creature that beats morphs at 3mv.
4mv: as few as possible.
5mv: Probably fine, but not like every creature
6+mv: doesn't really matter. (if it gets this late and you still only have 2/2s, they can be awful.)

I want more cards like become immense, because they are support cards for cycling, while not being deck cards outside of the dedicated cycling deck.

Morph has some interesting hidden information games, based on what mana your opponent keeps up you can try to guess what morphs they might have, but this cube currently has ~150 morphs, which I think is too much to be able to remember all the morphs and to guess which one it is.

KTK has ~300 cards, 35 of which are morphs. 2 of which are mythics so you don’t really need to remember them very much, and 6 of which are rares, which you won’t see in every deck, so there’s like 27-33 morphs that you might see, which is manageable to remember. I think having similar numbers in the cube could make it interesting in a what morph do they have kinda play. So if I want to do this I just need to pick out ~35 morphs and include duplicates of all of them to achieve the density of morph that o want. I think I could also have 5 “mythic” one of morphs that people don’t have to remember very much

The idea of this cube is to use cycling and morph, which are two really cool mechanics, and can be used with just generic mana (hence Colorless), but can also be cast for colored mana (hence Colorful)

I would like as many cards to be able to be used with colorless mana as possible, but of course some cards wont fit that.

I also want to try and keep the amount of the complexity of reading the cards down, so I want to try to keep one of keywords and such limited. I think a pretty solid cube can be build from just cycling, morph and evergreen keywords.

Disguise is pretty much the same as morph, but I think it would get very confusing for some strange 2/2s to have ward but not others.

Power level is somewhat complex I want to be able to do Exalted Angel and Astral Slide/Astral Drift stuff, but I also want a 2/2 for 3 to be somewhat viable
Riptide Labs Post, I am also interested in some of this, and because of the time period of a lot of the cards that fit my themes, I think I can definitely take some inspiration from this.

What does interaction look like when creatures don’t all have powerful etbs? Can removal be less efficent? I don’t think Pacifism is super viable because of Astral slide but it will be interesting to think about.

I also aim to try and prevent non games as much as I can, with cycling to get rid of bad cards, land cycling to provide fixing, morph to give 2/2s if stuck on mana, bounce lands to somewhat prevent not drawing lands.

As for gameplay, I want to encourage,
I would love for games to be interactive, prevent non-games, and have a drafting experience newer players can enjoy, by preventing 'traps', and the number of complex cards.
I don't mind complex interactions between cards, but I would like cards individually to be relatively easy to grasp, for example I am okay with the somewhat complex interaction between Astral Slide and Morph, as each card is pretty simple on its own, but has a more complex interaction when you use them together. - Perhaps this is bad for having gameplay that newer players are capable of easily grasping, they most likely will not know that blinking a morph turns it face up.

winning deck is Astral Slide Exalted Angel, could be interesting to look at.

I also am interested by the morph archetype found in khans drafts -
