Come sail away with The Boat Cube. This cube is made up entirely of cards with an image of a boat somewhere in the art. For the purposes of this cube, spaceships and airships are being considered boats, but hot air balloons are not being extended the same leeway as they cannot steer. This is a primarily 4 color cube, with a splash of green, but if you want to cast those green spells or pay for green activation or trigger costs, you better draft some lands or treasure producers, as there are no boats in the woods, or Basic Forests in the Boat Cube. Please enjoy the ridiculousness of boats.

Draft "archetypes":
White/Blue: This color pair looks to either get value off of Enter the Battlefield effects or cast Instants and Sorceries for additional value. Look for cards such as Cloudblazer or Raff, Weatherlight Stalwart to guide your way.

White/Red: Crew your boats to swing big. We are looking to assemble vehicles and crew, either reduce the crew cost on cheap vehicles with high crew costs, or play those ships that provide their own token crew.

White/Black: The Vampires Conquistadors of Ixalan join the fray to battle in a lower to the ground aggro deck, but can easily reach the midrange battles and manage their life totals with lifelink to make the longer game.

Blue/Red: Artifacts with the help of the Weatherlight's Artificer Captain will sail overhead and keep the card draw going.

Blue/Black: Counterspells and the best removal lead to this being a more controlling color combination. Fatal Push and Walk the Plank join Capsize, Cancel and Force of Will to try to play permissions game.

Black/Red: Greven, Predator Captain and Dire Fleet Warmonger will use your own crew to enact an aggressive strategy using your resources to try to get the game over quickly.

Grixis: Pirates! Need I say more?

5-Color: Captain Sisay wishes to help round up the crew of the Weatherlight. Five color Legends is the name of the game, but be sure to draft those green sources as the boats are not entering the forest.

Mono-Blue: Seamonsters, control, card draw. Versatile with big finishers, but will probably want to splash other colors to shore up their weaknesses.

There are other "hidden" archetypes for drafts to discover by either delving the depths of the cube list, or going with the current of the draft to find what treasures come their way.
