180 Card Assassin's Creed Set Cube - for 2 to 4 players.
Drafting by 2 Players:
Eight 7-card Packs per Player.
1 pick and pass, then 2 picks and pass each time until the pack is empty.
Rinse and repeat!
Drafting by 4 Players:
Five 9-card Packs per Player.
1 pick and pass.
Rinse and repeat!
Multiples Notes:
1 Templar Knight drafted is worth:
3 total in 4 player draft.
5 total in Twobert.
There are 8 Brotherhood Headquarters. The distribution during set up is up to you playing at home. I have included 8 because I feel the card deserves a multiples slot, and 8 fit when I was building out the lands
Supplemental Cards:
Because this set sits around ~130 unique nonlands, I tried to add cards that made sense with both the overall Assassin's Creed theme (ie Humans only) and the set mechanics (ie Disguise).
Despite only a pair of 2 color taplands being printed in ACR (Submerged Boneyard and Stone Quarry), I have included all 10.
The 5 MM1 Horizon Cycle is printed in this set. To supplement the other 5 color pairings, the opposite 5 signets have been added.
Final Notes:
This set is clunky to draft. Even with all the additional cards, not all decks will feel great when you're done drafting. But it's done for the theme.
This set rewards aggressive plays, the hallmark of this being the Freerunning mechanic.
Pirates, Reanimator, and Artifacts are all strong themes, with Control, Spellslinger, and Equipments-Matter being good suites to build around as well.
Green is bad. No escaping this fact. There are "technically" only 4 mono-green cards printed in this set. Green is great as a support for 1/2 other colors that need to get basics in play, and also for building into Golgari (BG) and Naya (RGW) legends.
No counterspells were harmed in the making of this cube.
