Cloned from haganbmj's Peasant Cube; Signed + Scanned
est. 2013 (?)
Roughly sized, I'm not strict on numbers or per-color totals. Some of this is to account for biases in multicolor/colorless cards and to lean towards certain secondary color pairs.
My interest in the Magic as a game has waned significantly over the last half decade or so and this Cube will certainly reflect that. I haven't made as frequent of updates over the last few years so this cube biases a bit older - which I'm comfortable with and will probably embrace as far as themes and power levels are concerned.
The groups I draft with have similarly fell off the game so keeping the card pool older is beneficial for them. There are also cards I will exclude for power level, complexity (whether mechanical or operational), and/or lack of reminder text on relatively new mechanics. For example, I don't find the Thriving lands to be appealing due to the requirement to annotate named colors. I also am not interested in something "new" like Lulu due to the number of clauses/qualifiers in its text that I find make it difficult to read/execute. Double Faced Cards have to fit a specific role for me to consider them, the fewer I include the better.
