Cube designed for beginners, as a tool to introduce players to basic draft strategies and all the evergreen keywords. There still should be enough deckbuilding decisions and gameplay intricacies to keep more experienced players interested.
For ease of use for the begineer player, the cube follows the following restrictions:
The goal is to emulate a low power limited environment with two-color archetypes that are typical for those colors keeping the above restrictions in mind.
Two-Color Archetypes:
There is some support for an 11th archetype - 5 color elemental tribal- but beware, this is seeded into the cube for those who want to draft on hard-mode (perhaps an experienced player is drafting with beginner players and wants to even the playing field a bit, which is the type of experience the cube is designed for!). Splashing for elemental tribal might not be an “optimal” strategy - but it might be fun.
