This cube aims to provide players with a (somewhat) polished draft experience that evokes the feeling of building decks by spreading out your box of cards on the kitchen table - the OG limited experience.

I started this cube in Baltimore 2022, originally as a copy of a cube I found online, but over time it's become a place for cool/interesting cards in my collection that I've acquired organically. The draft themes have slowly become more curated, as I've collected/traded for cards that are 'classic' cube staples or included in other cubes I've enjoyed playing. Most of the cards have a story behind them (a draft or prerelease, a cube played, a friend traded with) and I've started documenting that in the notes section.

Most decks are 2 colors with a splash, and games are usually very fast. Mana base includes 2x each fetch land and 2x each shock land, plus the surveil, bicycle, and horizon lands.

Current themes and loose archetypes I'm aiming to support: artifacts-matter, / aggro-burn, weenie, domain zoo, /x control, zombie aggro / sacrifice, spells-matter, / hogaak/graveyard, minor tribal synergies (e.g. humans, zombies). These are just themes I've consciously thought about supporting, but there is lots of room for emergent design/gameplay.
