Instead of basic lands, at the end of the draft you are given access to the five mono-colored Artifact Lands. That's the gist of it. You can find more details below.
Only Artifacts Matter The Only Artifacts Cube where everything fully revolves around artifactsDisclaimer: Obviously I have no way of proving that this is the only such cube. But I got your attention, and the claim is close enough to the truth that I feel comfortable about bending it a little bit.
Every card in Only Artifacts Matter is somehow connected to artifacts. From the very obvious ones — cards that are artifacts themselves — to cards that mention Vehicles, Equipment, generate Treasures and Food, or just mention Artifacts in their rules text.
This also extends to the "basic lands" — unlike other cubes, where it is basic lands you get access to at the end of the draft, here you're given access to the five mono-colored Artifact lands. Ancient den, Seat of the Synod, Vault of Whispers, Great Furnace, Tree of Tales will form the majority of your mana base, which means your mana base is quite prone to artifact destruction effects. 30 copies of the ten Indestructible "Bridge" artifact lands from Modern Horizons 2 are also in the cube, as well as other non-artifact fixing lands that still reference artifacts, but you need to draft them.
Speaking of artifact removal, to prevent early game land destruction, most artifact removal in this cube costs at least 3 mana (or has some other drawback).
ArchetypesGiven the novelty nature of this cube, it is hard to pin-point exact archetypes — the cube just hasn't been designed in such a way and I haven't tried to limit drafters in certain lanes. Instead, I hope new archetypes will emerge naturally.
Of note, the color pie has been turned on its head, especially when it comes to Red and Green, who have access to the heaviest control cards in this environment. Meanwhile, Black plays a very interesting Aggro variation, and Azorius is probably the most aggressive color combination.
All of that said, below are some examples of two-colored deck archetypes you can expect, with some example cards you may see in a draft deck.
