Old School 93-95.
8 players (3 packs of 15 cards each), plus the 20 dual/pain lands are drafted separately after the normal 3-pack draft.
Two Disenchant and two Mishra's Factory, otherwise singleton.
Ice Age cards are included, but there are no “snow-land” relevant cards.
Orcish Oriflamme keeps its Alpha casting cost. All other cards are per the Oracle text.
Note the following cards are intentionally NOT in the cube, to limit the number of unfun games:
You see "Booster Tutor" as one of the cards. This card is not really in the cube, but it represents the Joker.
The Joker is a "wildcard." You draft the Joker as you would normally draft a card. If you have the Joker, at any time during the draft you may take TWO cards from the pack currently in your hand (instead of one), and silently put the Joker back in that hand and pass it to the next person.
If you end up with the Joker after all 3 packs have been fully drafted, you receive a benefit when drafting the dual/pain lands: You may choose EITHER:
(1) to go FIRST and pick TWO dual lands, then draft proceeds as normal for all 8 players (so you will end up with 3 dual lands instead of 2, and the final 3 dual lands are not used),
OR
(2) to sit out the dual land draft completely, but after the other 7 players complete their draft, you will receive ALL SIX remaining dual lands that weren't chosen by the other 7 players.
As for any card altered by Dr. Richard Garfield, you may elect to play it as altered if you wish.
