Cloned from The No Nonsense Bar Cube

CUBE OVERVIEW

No dice. No tokens. No counters. No shuffling. No nonsense.

Once you start playing, you only need the cards in front of you and you'll never need to wait for your opponent to shuffle their deck. This cube has fairly defined archetypes and cards that are friendly for new players. Being a small budget cube, this is a great option to bring to the bar and start playing with friends!

If you're interested in this type of cube, here is the Scryfall filter I use for each new set, you can replace the set value:

set:BRO r<r -fo:token -fo:shuffle -fo:search -fo:transform -fo:"+1 counter" -o:"counter on" -o:"counters on" -fo:"energy count" -fo:"lore count" (-fo:"counter target" or fo:ward) not:reprint not:dfc not:digital -type:basic

The above can be altered for new or specific set mechanics, such as:
-fo:dice
-fo:"stun counter"

DRAFT

You should draft this cube using Grid or Winston Draft for 2 players, or 5x9 packs for 4 players. There will be 20 cards leftover in a draft, and that is to introduce slight variation between drafts. You can cut to 180 if you want to ensure every card is available in each draft.

ARCHETYPES

You are welcome to draft and play however you like with this cube. However, for those interested in copying the cube and making their own updates, it may be useful to include my target archetypes for each color pair, so here you go.

Across All Colors
Since there is no searching up cards in the cube, I want to maximize players' ability to use plenty of cards from their deck in various ways. Cycling, recursion, or modal cards appear across all colors to increase lines of play and keep more seasoned players engaged with the breadth of options.
