Cube that i use to draft weekly with some friends. Usually from 3-4 to 6 players. This Cube support a maximum of 8 players.
In 3 players we "Grid Draft" (18 rounds with a grid putting a line/column of cards after the first line/column pick). In 4 players (5 rounds with 13 cards and we burn the last 4 cards for each pack). In 6 players (4 rounds using packs of 15 cards, burning the last 4 cards of each pack)

Most drafted Archetypes:
  • g/g-w overrun: Midrange deck that ramp up to close the game with a lot of creatures with +x+x. Of course this deck need to swarm the board with a lot of little creatures. Mana dorks are really precious

Finishers/KeyCards:

  • u based "do nothing" control: Most of the time uw or urw/urb. Pairing with w is strong to access powerful removal, urb to do something more planeswalker based or with some graveyard tricks. The goal is to play the game to destrupt your opponent strategy, and aim to let your opponent finish the deck or finish yourself the deck and seal the deal with Thassa's Oracle.

WinConditions/Keycards:

  • Reanimator/Cheat out creatures: Most of the time will be a urb deck or an gbw. A variation of those two deck is possible, mixing in a 4 colors deck. g have access to great tools to even hardcast creatures and Natural Order to cheat out a big boy. r instead have the sinergy with Daretti/Goblin welder or Sneak Attack. u give you access to various cheat out tools: Show and tell, Tinker and Flash.
For the nature of those cards a urb deck will be more Artifact based, while an gbw deck will be more creatures based and hardcasting some fatties is not too difficult.

The following cards are a reason to go with this type of deck:
Cheat out tools:

PayOff:

Of course there are others good creatures, but those are the most popular

  • Aggro: Usually Aggro is r or w based. Mono r or Mono w or a mix of the two, rw is what do you want if you want to draft aggo. Is possible to mix the two colors with b, and play rb or wb aggro. a reason to splash a pure mono w deck or a mono r deck with b is if you pick early a dark confidant or a bitterblossom.
An important note is that fast mana is really important for aggro decks to do aggro things early and push fast some precious damage to close the game as soon as possible.

KeyCards:

  • 4c Control/Combo/Good Stuff: Is not a real archetype but can close out the game using multiple angles. Usually play strong walkers and some mini combo to close the game. You can build this deck smashing all the strongest cards that you pick. Remember to pick up high triple lands and double colored lands/fetches. In my playgroup the most popular 4 colors control deck is a gub deck paired usually with r or w.
Annoying combos that you have to look out if you want to boost the performance of this deck are listed above.

Look out at the "draw cards" combo with

and sinergy with

  • Artifact Control/Combo: This is the archetype artifact based of the cube, can be played based on daretti/goblin welder or control (or a mix of them). Usually is an u rb Deck. You need to look out at some keycards that make this archetye to work out and stronger.

Build Around Cards - Archetypes

The following archetypes are made around some cards. For this reason usually those are stronger if you pick those cards in the first pack to have more time to make a stronger deck.

  • Upheaval / Opposition / Fastbond : It is usually a gu deck that use mana dorks to produce mana/lock the opponent depends if you pick up Upheaval or Opposition. This archetype is builded around those cards, so it's important to have a backup wincondition if something go wrong. Fastbond is a nice addition if you put your hands with Upheaval.

  • Splinter Twin / Kiki Twin: ur Deck that can spash b or w depends if you want more redundancy or removal/anternate win con. Is a combo deck that play like a control deck. Counters are important to protect your combo that let you win the game.

If you want some redundance:

  • Time Vault - Key Combo: u Based deck usually that have inside this combo of two cards that let you do infinite turns. Look out at some enablers that are still strong despite they don't make win the game. Daretti and Goblin Welder are strong to have some recursion from the graveyard if a combo piece is destroyed.

The following cards permits you to do another turn with timevault
