This is a 375 card Peasant cube.

Why peasant? Because Vintage cubes are often as boring as rock, paper, scissors nowadays with all those insanely powerful cards. I drop a bomb, you either have the perfect answer or an even bigger bomb. In peasant there are a lot of the same utility spells you will find in Vintage cubes as well (removal, burn, counterspells, card draw), but no must-answer-immediately-or-perish bombs.

This cube plays like a high powered limited environment without rare level bombs. Think of a Masters set without the rares/mythics that was tuned up a notch even.

I try to keep the power level high and I'm not a fan of depowering removal (such as removing cards like Swords to Plowshares or Infernal Grasp) or removing 2 for 1 cards (such as Ravenous Chupacabra, Flametongue Kavu).

I'm still wary of oppressive, game warping cards though. That's why you won't find cards like Sol Ring or Skullclamp in my cube. And since there is generally a low amount of artifact and especially enchantment removal in the cube (and in most cubes really) I try to avoid extremely powerful artifacts and enchantments like Curse of Predation or Loxodon Warhammer as well.

To keep the replayability high the cube isn't built around archetypes as every color combination can be played as a generic aggro, midrange or control deck. However there are supported archetypes in each color combination:
