Welcome, Planeswalker, to the Unwritten Now!
Wizards announced that KTK will come to Arena in “Late 2023“. This is a great place to gain some familiarity with the set!

This is a 3-2-1 set cube of Khans of Tarkir. Khans of Tarkir is widely regarded as one of the best sets for the draft experience. I also find the blend of mechanics and flavor of this plane stellar.

The enemy color pairs provide the backbone for drafting. One strategy for drafting this set is to start with an enemy color pair early in the draft, then try to splash a third color in pack 2 or 3 to align with a particular clan. The other primary strategy to draft is to identify which clan's colors are open, and draft a deck around that clan. Decent color fixing and morph support five-color as a feasible option as well.
There are two cards from KTK not included in this cube: Ugin's Nexus and Altar of the Brood. Each is a rare/mythic colorless artifact that has little relevance in a limited environment and would only eat up the rare slot in the packs.
I am considering removing one three-color card from each clan. As of now, however, they are still all there.
JUMPSTART
I am playing around with making jumpstart pack card lists for the entire cube; KTK, FRF, and DTK. For 2-person 'drafts', I think that will be preferable.
