Most people fall in love with their first Magic set/block, and I'm no different. The very first Magic product I ever personally bought after being taught to play was the mono-red Kumano burn deck from Champions of Kamigawa. I've loved the block ever since and decided I wanted to build a cube based on the plane.
The cube is singleton and based mainly on Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty because, well, I love the original block but it doesn't play well with others. I tried to flesh out the cube from the OG block and cards from supplemental sets. I've used non-Kamigawa cards, but keep to ones that aren't SUPER blatant about not being from Kamigawa, if that makes sense. So I used some vehicles from Kaladesh, some enchantment spirits from Theros, etc etc.
I'm probably going to cut the planeswalkers and Jin-Gitaxias at some point.
Draft Archetypes (same as Neon Dynasty in all but one case)
WU: Vehicles/Artifacts
WB: Balance (the only change I made was trying to introduce a few bleeder effects to this combo, things like Blind Obedience)
WR: Samurai
WG: Enchantments
UB: Ninjas
UR: Artifacts
UG: Ramp/Big Spells (only change here was adding a bit of cascade)
BR: Artifact Sacrifice
BG: Graveyard
RG: Modified
I've also tried to work in:
WUBRG Shrines (wanted to include the shrine cycles)
WBG Spiritcraft (basically just a spirit or two in each color that cares about it at the moment, basically a "bonus" archetype)
The gold list is the part I'm still thinking about. I'd like to keep the non-fixing to 5 cards. There are some UB ninjas I'd like to use that aren't on the list yet, and some colors are a bit harder for me to fill in. It's hard to find tricolor legends that fit the plane well, but I'm committed to 2 per wedge/shard because I have a copy of Ghen and he's great for an enchantment heavy block like this.
For multicolor fixing, I chose not to use the OG Kamigawa nap lands, cause I felt they were too slow. I didn't go with fetches/pains because I did want to not speed the OG Kamigawa pace up tooo much. Right now, the fixing is:
Talisman cycle
Neon Dynasty gainlands
Kaldheim snow duals (I think of it as representing a Hokkaido-like part of the plane)
MDC duals
A tapland for each color pair
