Cubes often feel like one of the MTGO cubes (Vintage, Legacy, Modern) or the arena cube. These goodstuff cubes are fun (I have one), and let drafters pick from a selection of cards they may be familiar with from competitive constructed formats.
The downside to this is that when players draft a new cube, they're often drafting a subtle remix of something they've done before.
This cube aims to provide a novel synergy-based drafting experience. This is accomplished in two ways:
