If you win an 8 person pod draft, you can leave your stamp on the cube and rename a card from your pool!

Unpowered cube that focuses on replayability and interaction, while maintaining a high power level. Not fully power optimized as some cards are not played due to being too strong or unfun (Oko, Opposition, etc). There are also no infinite combos.

Draft Modifications/Clarifications:

  1. Intended to be drafted with 3 packs of 16
  2. All basics added at the end of the draft are snow basics
  3. Companion rules are specified to each printing (Yorion can be cast from your sideboard without paying additional mana, and Lurrus requires you to pay 3 mana to put in your hand)

Additional Info:

I first built this cube in 2012 and have been updating it since. I was a judge for about 10 years and put a lot of my compensation and judge foils into the cube, so the cube is quite aesthetically pleasing and pretty as a result. Every card version is properly specified so please take a look at the visual spoiler to see what editions and foils are in the cube! You can also use the tag filters to see what cards have been renamed and what cards are (artist and non-artist) signed!

I like the idea of drafting the whole cube, but I wanted to ensure that the cube is also replayable. As a result, there are often overlaps between archetypes and cards tend to fill multiple roles (eg: Myr Battlesphere, Sundering Titan, and Triplicate Titan are all targets for Tinker, reanimator, and ramp).

The only free spells are Force of Will and Fireblast. There is one card with ninjutsu and no cards with miracle. Graveyard order does not matter. There are no dual faced cards that can be played as their backside from your hand (eg: Pathways, etc). There are no cards that involve becoming the monarch or taking the initiative, and no silver-bordered/un-cards. I also have chosen not to include any card that does not have reminder text for any non-deciduous mechanics, the two exceptions being promo Uro and phyrexian Elesh Norn.

I want to note that this list does not support a sacrifice/aristocrats archetype.

I originally had a 360 card cube with a multicolored section that consisted of 3 cards and 3 lands per guild. This density felt right for the size, but I wanted to play some more multicolored cards that I enjoyed. To not have to cut more monocolored cards, I decided to add 1 more card and 1 more land to each guild, and then 4 additional cards to the cube.
