Built to emulate the best feelings of playing during the era of Innistrad / Return to Ravnica standard!
Cards are split into three categories:
Staples. 3 copies of each.
All other cards. 1 copy of each.
Nonbasic Lands. 2 copies of each fixing land.
The cube breaks down into the following distribution:
360 total cards
50 staples = 150 cards. 330 left.
20 fixing lands = 40 cards. 290 left.
290 other cards = 180 cards. 0 left.
Can be played through Draft, or Minisealed.
Minisealed RulesEach player (up to six maximum) gets a pool of 90 non-land cards, from which they build 30-card decks (expect 16-20 nonland cards).
They are then paired off into 1v1 matches. These are played best-of-three. The winner keeps their deck. The loser retires the nonland cards in their deck from their pool and builds a new deck.
After the first round, pairings are shuffled and a new round begins.
When a player wins two rounds in a row with the same deck, they retire the cards in their deck the same way a player who loses does.
After three rounds, the player with the best record of wins-to-losses wins the tournament.
