Cube 403

This cube is a collection of the things I love about Magic. It's full of 600 cards from my favorite sets, planes, and decks that utilize the mechanics of the game I enjoy the most.

  • This cube is meant to be drafted with 3x15 packs or sealed with 8x15 packs.
  • Commander draft is also possible, with 3x20 (pick 2) draft, in which you can have any legendary OR 2+ color creature as your commander. Additionally, all mono-colored legendary creatures have Partner in commander draft.

The throughline for all colors in the set is how they interact with the graveyard. Filling up your graveyard through sacrifice, mill, discard, and storm is often where you will find the highest value in your cards. Madness with discard, reanimation at a discount, enter the battlefield triggers, and other things that care about the cards in your graveyard are everywhere in the cube. Plenty of non-graveyard mechanics exists, and the cube is designed to focus on synergy of interactions for the highest payoff.

Each color pair has one main archetype with multiple sub-identities that can be leaned into, often supported further by splashing into another color with overlapping strategies. If you see a repeated strategy below, it often means a 3 color deck in that archetype is supported. Splashing these other colors is encouraged with the large selection of fixing options in the cube.
