The bulk cube was originally made from the bulk that I've obtained over the last 10 ish years of playing magic and I've been steadily upgrading it with pet cards printed over that period. The cube is focussed on playing fair magic at a standard or penny dreadful -ish power level. To achieve this the cube incentivises board pressence and creature based combat, and intentionally avoids game warping cards or archetypes (i.e. planeswalkers, value engines, fast reanimator).
