'Magic Re-gathered' is a fully custom Magic the Gathering format, re-imagined from the ground up. What would magic look like if I were at the helm from the very start with the benefit of 30 years of hindsight? Each entry in this list should be considered exclusively in the context of one another, rather than against the history of magic as we have now.
This is an ongoing project with several planned sets.
The first set is named 'Confluence', which hosts 100 cards designed in the vein of Alpha. It features the confluence of mages in the city of Ryn, where the world's most powerful magic wielders gather to meet and compete once every century.
CONSTRUCTED FORMAT UNIQUE RULES:
1vs1 25 life
Players construct a 45 card deck
Players are restricted to 3 copies of a given card other than basic lands
The 'Legend Rule' features the following errata: "Each deck may contain at most one copy of each legendary card."
