This battle box is designed to feel like kitchen-table magic, with a bulk-rare power level.

I started playing magic during Shards of Alara, and Conflux was my first set release, so you'll notice a bias towards cards from that set.
I've included a lot of modal spells, charms, and commands because flexibility is very important in such a random environment.
There are a few very bomb-y cards. This is by design. I want to capture the kitchen table feeling of drawing the best card in your deck.
There are no MDFCs, though double-face cards are allowed, you have to play them as their front face.
The battle box is also built so it can be played the same way as Arena Omniscience Draft.
Each player draws 3 cards and begins the game with the following emblem:
