Many cubes avoid DFCs for their finicky nature. This one goes the opposite direction choosing instead to be done in clear sleeves and play with the extra information.
DFCs in clear sleeves can be seen from the top of the library and in the hand. This is intentional. A fun little archetype built around this is "lantern control". Various discard effects become much more powerful as well like cabal therapy. If a card would place a card "face down", such as bomat courier, then DFC's ignore this effect.
Since the cube is built around DFCs from Innistrad Blocks, Zendikar, Kaldeim, Strixhaven and Magic Origins, some surprising synergies happen. Others are more subtle such as using flickerwisp on lands.
Due to DFC's being text-heavy, a large percentage of the cube is dedicated to vanilla, french vanilla, and easily recognized classics in order to keep things fast and focused.
Final Note: Night/Day and various werewolf cards are excluded from the cube due to tracking it being unfun. Shuffle effects are minimized.
