Orator speaking:
"When we see otters tumbling in the stream, does our heart not lift with joy? When an octopus unfurls a knurled tentacle, do we not feel a spark of kinship? Looking into the slotted pupil of a goat, who has not felt a sudden connection with that beast, and every beast? Our neighboring towns may look on in confusion, but today in Cambiaforma we will open our minds. Today, we cast off the confines of this label: humanity. We are humans, but so too are we beasts, horses, rats, trilobites, and goblins. Rejoice fellow citizens!"
in the background: indistinct cheering, honking, mooing, and squeeling are heard

Cambiaforma?
Cambiaforma is spanish for shapeshifter. Fancy right?

This cube was inspired by the changeling cube by @donaldkmagic but I made a point of not looking at their list (which I wasn't really familiar with) while building this. The card pool is a combo of what I already had and what I could get for cheap at the LGS. Notably, the LGS is often sold out of popular things and anything expensive or in demand with commander players, so this is a fairly random restriction to the card pool.

The card pool here is focused on things that play very differently when creatures have every creature type. Games should be pretty wild and wacky, but I think I've avoided any simple 2 or 3 card infinite combos. Some cards, like mass appeal are basically as good as they can possibly be in this setting. Its like the restriction they are built with (you can only play humans) has been completely removed. Can you feel a weight lifting from your shoulders? The folks in the crowd probably feel the same way as the orator helps them to rethink their existence...

Rules:

  • everyone starts with this emblem that cannot be interacted with:

Creatures you control are every creature type. The same is true for creature spells you control and creature cards you own that aren’t on the battlefield.

  • players draw a hand of 7 cards
  • any card can be played face down as a land that taps for any color
  • the library and graveyard are shared

Things can get pretty crazy. Check these out:

Buckle up! It should be a wild ride.
