Do you like putting cardboard on tables? Do you like cards that make more cards? Do you have a raging clue right now? If you answered yes to any of these questions, stop it. Get some help. But first, take a seat and draft this cube with me.
This token is about cube generation. Sorry. This cube is about token generation: Clues, Treasures, Foods, Blood, 0/0's, 1/1's, 2/2's, 3/3's, 4/4's... Heck, this puppy even has some Powerstones! We've got 'em all, and we're leveraging 'em to create a format that gives drafters an array of recognizable archetypes to choose from, but with a fun token-y flavor. Some stuff to look for:
Build a collection of artifacts while you control the board, then use that collection to cheat out your closer.
Use removal and disruption to clear your opponent's board so your animated artifacts can swing through unblocked.
Sacrifice your artifacts (and your creatures too, why be picky?) to generate value and then use that value to hurt your opponent physically and emotionally.
Go fast go big punch hard win good
Overwhelm your opponents with teeny tiny little guys by making a lot of them and than making them not so teeny tiny.
Go wide with Artifact Creatures and not-very-Artifact creatures alike to get your opponent dead.
Disrupt your opponent generate card advantage, and protect your creatures to reach victory.
Generate tokens to generate advantage to generate tokens to generate advantage to generate tokens to generate advantage to genera...
Outlast your opponent with plentiful removal and recursive threats.
A man walks into a talent agent's office with his wife and his four children. The talent agent says, "I can't agree to represent you if I haven't seen your act. Show me what you can do." The man sacrifices one of his children to cast a kicked Final Flourish targeting the talent agent's lone blocker then sacrifices his other three children and his wife to put 4 +1/+1 counters on his Bartolome Del Presidio, hitting the agent for 8 life through Marionette Apprentice and Blood Artist in the process. He then swings with Bartolomé to take the agent to 6 and passes.
"Eugh, that was disgusting! What do you call this?" asks the talent agent in revulsion. The man smiles and says "the Aristocrats!"
Other Attractions"Wow, this is a lot to choose from," I bet you're saying. To that I say, but wait! There's More! Each monocolor should be viable, and there is enough fixing for you to mix and match for some 3(+?)-color shenanigans. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!
Karnstructs (Centered inFinish your opponents off by making an army of really, really big Constructs.
Artifact Aggro (Centered inThis one's real simple: Play robots, turn them sideways. Easy peasy.
Reanimator (Centered inPut stuff in your graveyard and take it out.
