93/94 Old School Battlebox Rules:

Same library and graveyard.

Each starts with 11 lands in their command zone. 1 set of either allied or enemy ABUR duals (randomly), 5 of each basic land + 1 City of Brass.

Each player starts with 4 cards in hand.

Each turn you draw from the same deck. You can then play a land from the command zone.

IMPORTANT: Special rule on the ABUR duals; they enter the battlefield tapped in this battlebox.

If a land is destroyed in any way, it returns to the command zone. If a land is bounced it goes to the players hand.

No Mulligans.

The gameplay have been really great. Fun/Nostalgic and games have been fast. I've yet to cast my 11th land, the games are over beforethen.
You always have something to do with your mana, you always have action and decisions.
That is why small 1 mana utility cards are really good (twiddle, instill energy, death ward.)
The interesting aspect of ABUR duals that enters tapped is:
The interesting gameplay from "Danger Room" by DeMars with the tapped invasion lands becomes present. However the 1 city of brass is key, as it gives you a way to play around this with a cost.
Them being islands/swamps etc is key regarding landwalk ability. This means that Shanodin Dryads for example is normally always 1/1 unblockable. Great for pushing the game forward. Therefore I am going to add "Cat Warriors", "River Merfolk" and "Bog Wraith".
