My goal as a cube creator is to create an engaging cube experience without relying on parasitic cards/archetypes. For this cube, I wanted to create a highly flexible drafting environment with the added kick of vintage power. Cards either don't require much support, can fit into a variety of archetypes, and/or have a high degree of redundancy.

With the unique strength of some individual cards in vintage, creating a drafting environment with guaranteed redundancy is impossible. As such, I eliminated archetypes that entirely relied on these 1-of copies of powerful cards, and ensured that any cards that support these powered cards can ALSO support other archetypes. This effectively removes the parasitic nature of cards like Time Vault, allowing them to be a sort of "happy surprise" when they do show up.

Aside from those one-card situations, I ensured any archetype has a high degree of redundancy. For example, cards like Unite the Coalition and Inspired Ultimatum only fit in basically one archetype. However, there is an array of redundant enablers for them, including cards like Mizzix's Mastery, Dream Halls, Kylox's Voltstrider, and more. I'll leave the fun of figuring out the other enablers to you ;). (A lot of the enablers can even enable multiple different archetypes!).
