Making only minor changes to the cube before Boston Cube Party.
The benefits of double landfall triggers or cycling don't really offer much compared to the simplicity of verges.
Breeches was too strong of a two-way player and seize feels like a good modular card for getting through defenses or digging at instant speed.
Replacing a few other clunkier cards with more streamlined versions eg. Host over Corpsejack.
Added the incredible new Snakeskin Veil art. Swish!
swapping out one of the slower land cycles for checklands. May consider verges over artifact lands once I get a full cycle.
Swapping out Urza's rage for less game-ending burn and adding in a few more defensive one-drops
Cutting a few multicolored cards bc the as-fan seemed a little high for a 360. Sauron seems cool but very powerful for 2players + 20 life + the other cards didn't do much.
Emrakul's Messenger and Gurgling Anointer both seemed very strong and snowbally with the ball. Messenger in particular creates blockers as a reward for using the ball, which makes it very hard to get the ball back. Thinking I'll keep Anointer in for now but cutting Messenger (and not putting in the Foundations guy who does the same thing)
Bond of Discipline and Fireball were both overly swingy; Venerated Loxodon is also on my watch list but might be fine with more interaction.
Putting in a few more counters / sweepers / removal spells and removing some of the blue draw spells that don't do much on rate compared to spending 2 generic with the ball on your board to draw 1 card.
Now you can finally see the cube in its stickered glory. Still waiting on physical copies of a few cards; made some swaps after playtesting to remove low-power outliers and add more density of themes and more REBOUND
