We gathered at Alex’s place for a 4-player grid-draft night. Once again Alex reigned supreme to continue his streak of being Cube King of the Hill.

Did 3x3 grid drafting, 40 card decks.
Unlicensed Hearse was great as Chris, Tim and Alex were all on reanimate / recursion strategies.
Fable of the Mirror Breaker and Incinerator of the Guilty also overpeformed.
Chris will be examining the companions for removal except for maybe Gyruda who fits the UB theft archetype. Slicer will also be removed as it is a EDH-centric card. Nahiri’s Lithoforming is being removed as Chris needs it for an EDH deck.
This cube has acquired a reputation for being "cursed" and causing injuries or cancellations in the lives of the players. Here is an incomplete listing of cursed events resulting in playing the cube not proceeding as planned:
- replacement of old water heater failed, resulting in spillage and further replacement
- cat belonging to partner of participant passed away
- participant getting sick one day before cubing
- participant suffering pinched nerve in hip day before cubing
- participant getting in trouble with partner over unrelated activities
