3 Mana O-Rings are gone, swapped in removal with mana value 2 and another 1 drop.
Reducing complexity, Looter Il-Kor gone because of Shadow, Mist-Syndicate Naga gone because of Ninjutsu.
Sheoldred, the Apocalypse was a bit too dominant last draft, God-Eternal Bontu is pretty chunky. Shifted the black curve lower/towards sac with another 1 drop, removal spell and a Transmogrant's Crown
Added Play with Fire for spellslinger decks (still haven't seen anyone put one together) and Spiteful Prankster for Rakdos sac decks.
Wanted to put Plow Under back in but can't find the card. Will do eventually
Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner has been showing up in Pioneer, seems better than Nissa, Steward of Elements, which has a tonne of words and does nothing. Also, Goose Hydra.
Trying out Heartflame Duelist. No hate against Showdown of the Skalds, but want to keep the Boros curve low.
Very keen on Scalding Viper, especially the adventure half. Niv-Mizzer, Parun is a more exciting build-around than Ral, Storm Conduit.
Grist, the Hunger Tide actually has too many words. Trying out Mosswood Dreadknight.
Grand Coliseum not necessary with City of Brass and Mana Confluence already doing it's job. I realised I didn't want the dice rolling of Ebony Fly. Myriad Construct is pretty boring.
Added Metallic Mimic and Nettlecyst for Johnnys/Jennys, Syr Ginger, the Meal Ender for spikes.
Future Changes?Ordered some cards from LCI.
Consider cutting Dream Trawler, Elder Gargaroth, Fallen Shinobi, Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath, Nissa, Voice of Zendikar, Primeval Titan, Ilharg, the Raze-Boar, Trostani Discordant, etc. Basically chunky midrange bois/cards with a lot of words that don't do much.
Adds to consider are in the maybeboard.
Midnight Reaper has been replaced by Sheoldred, the Apocalypese
Also swapped the printings of some cards with new proxies
Plus a couple of version swaps
One more change - removing the last Companion from my cube. Not worth explaining the rules. Dream Trawler is a card I removed previously, so not sure how long it will stick around.
A bunch of changes targeted at improving the cube for our playgroup, who only play MtG in once every 3-6 months.
General theme is removing cards that don't get picked.
My playgroup aren't massive magic players, and avoid cards with too many words.
There's some unfortunate cuts here - for example I enjoyed the play patterns of Lurrus of the Dream-Den, but don't really want to explain Companion 5 times a draft.
Reminder to self: add Crab and Guenhwyvar tokens to the box.
