Going back to Ravager Wurm. I need to stop overvaluing how many cubes a card is in. Ravager Wurm is a beating even if Ruric is in way more cubes. With more man-lands the wurm's other ability is more relevant as well. I know I want this slot to be a payoff for having haste enablers and Wurm already can have haste but it can just take a counter instead. I think people will undervalue it still but I don't think Ruric will encourage people play gruul more outside of him being a sideboard hoser.
3 more borderless pathways thanks to Travis. More tinkering after the DnD set release. Moving away from uninteractible threats so Hexdrinker is going to the bench and in it's place trying to push a little counters subtheme.
I thought I was going to buy a Bob but didn't pull the trigger. I'd rather have Glint-sleeve Siphoner than a proxy until I trade for one.
Testing Verdant Command. It will have an errata replacing the grave exile with self mill. Self mill cards in green are practically golgari gold cards so I am going to improvise until the card archetype flexible card comes out.
So far I'm not adding any of the broken powerful stuff. I don't want the power crept ridiculous stuff like Ragavan but if I open one of the Incarnations I'll consider them.
Persist is a strong buff to reanimation at 2 mana. The non legend clause is enough to finally cut Belzenlok. Since there are still no other good options I'm going to finally give Grave Titan a chance. I've kept him out for the entire history of the cube for being powerful but I convinced myself to give him a shot. Frogkin Kidnapper lost it's luster now that Elite Spellbinder gives this effect on a real card.
Timeless Witness is very medium but it buffs Pod decks and more cards that want to be dumped into the graveyard for green are welcome.
Dragon's Rage Channeler and Blazing Rootwalla are nice synergy minded 1 drops for red.
I was never sold on Jwari Disruption so I'm cutting it before it even got in a draft. Too many force spikes effects and Lose Focus is really strong.
Timeless Dragon Is nice because I had Eternal Dragon in my cube at the beginning and it lets white in on the graveyard theme more.
Sword of Hearth and Home will have protection taken off just like the others.
The card that's a perfect fit for the new equipment theme in Boros is Barbed Spike Another ancestral blade is great because they are flexible that don't need any synergies to run.
Not many changes from the set itself but a handful of cards I want to try from the commander decks.
I want to keep galepowder mage in but I'm putting the flicker support in a gold card. If only Galepowder was like combat calligrapher where it triggered on any attack instead giving it's ability haste. Venser is a strong signal to the archetype even if he is a glass cannon.
Slowly going to add more pathways.
Maul of the Skyclaves is a good addition to push the equipment theme that I recently added.
Still deciding on weather to add and buy the full set of pathways. For now I am adding the ones that I think need them most.
I need to get one still but if I'm pushing an equipment package for Boros, I'd better give the big mean one.
I forgot about these lands. Sample drafts have had less fixing that I want but I also did not want to add in another 10 dual lands so we'll give these a try. The expensive cycling lands were over ambitious.
