Yep, we're fully pretending that the updates have a regular schedule.
In our last draft, a few cards definitely felt insanely powerful, or like a bit of a bummer. I drafted harm's way and swift justice, and it just felt like I was cheating whenever I cast them. Granted, force of negation and force of will kind of have a reputation for the same vibes, but the card disadvantage feels like a big deal here and I'm curious how those will feel.
Vampiric rites and Life's legacy ask you to sacrifice a creature, which seems fine, but creatures are not that easy to get on board here, and sacrificing one is a much bigger deal than you would think at first. These have both been underwhelming.
Chaos orb was in the draft...but I don't think I would say that it added fun. The person who drafted it kinda got skunked (I don't think they destroyed anything with it...despite 2 or 3 tries) and it did feel like a bit of a sweaty bummer no matter which side you were on.
