These are the swaps. Breaking singleton for the egg, star and wellspring, as these are some of the best "glue" cards for the cube and work much better than the colored cards they're replacing.
Another chromatic star variant. Remember that you determine the value of X before applying the discount. So can activate for X = 2 for free. Hyper!
Get in this cube, Lembas!
The 3/3 left behind from generous gift is just too much of liability here. I imagine scrollshift being used as a cantrip or protection spell.
Blazing shoal... just doesn't do anything here.
Making some swaps with the intention of removing clunky spells with more broadly useful spells.
Acquisition octopus ended up being a little clunky(slow) so I'm swapping in what I think will be a better card advantage piece. Definitely a higher ceiling.
Colorless additions: some very hyper deep cuts. cycling hate in stabilizer (why does this exist?), more modular support, additional "big mana" win conditions in mindslaver, goblin charbelcher and coveted jewel.
Green additions: Aggressive artifact hate, game-winning threats in bane of progress, even more cycling, and a cute lil jelly bean.
Black additions: recur-able ritual effects with priest of gix, removal, tutors, and aggressive hate in dispossess.
Rules note: the discount doesn't apply to rhystic tutor. your opponent must pay the full 2 or you get demonic tutor.
Red additions: Tutors, removal, cycling and artifacts matter.
Blue additions: cheap counterspells and card draw with bonus cycling.
Rules note: the discount doesn't apply to "unless its controller pays X" effects, your opponent has to pay the 1.
Build your own triomes! I think this is cute.
Land cycling is hyper!
Cycling payoff.
More infect support! Because infect is the hyper version of combat damage!
I also think the "mill 6" ability on decimator web will end up being relevant.
Comes into played tapped! Not very hyper!
