In this video you'll see how I draft my own commander cube. I developed this method after much trial and error and have found that it's the best way to draft a commander cube while staying as faithful to cube draft and commander as possible. There are no extra rules to how you draft meaning that the learning curve is non-existent. Additionally, players are also able to construct actual commander decks: 100-card singleton deck following the commander color identity. The plus of drafting for commander is that any cards not used for your deck are part of your sideboard.
This method thus allows you to not have to do any "pre packs" or any "special packs" to iron out kinks or reduce clunkiness. You also don't have to draft first and then choose whichever commander you want from a communal pool or binder. Everything is drafted as normal. Also, you're not building a "commander" deck that's more like a brawl deck than anything. You're thus able to build commander decks as functional as your pod's drafting skills. This method gives you a bona fide commander deck with all the rules - the difference being that since it's drafted from a cube, you can add any cards you want!
So if you're looking for the simplest and most efficient way to draft your commander cube (or an idea on how to start building your own commander cube) then definitely take a look!
